Analysis:

A $50 or $100 gift card will incur $5.95 in fees and $200 gift card will incur a $6.95 fee. These gift cards can be used anywhere MasterCard cards are accepted. I suggest buying 2 X $200 MasterCard gift cards and you would pay $13.90 in fees for a $20 Staples gift card . If you have Chase Ink Plus credit card which offers 5X ultimate rewards at Office supply stores you could also earn 2068 points ($413.90 X 5).

I suggest hitting the stores as soon as possible, as the $200 cards tends to run out very soon. if you do not see the cards on the rack, do ask as a store associate as they tend to store a few in the back .

This could be a better deal if the rebate was a $20 visa card. However, it may still be useful offer to meet any spend requirements and get bonus points.

You can submit the rebate through Easy Rebates, an easy online process. In my past experience, I have always had good success with these rebates. There is a limit of one rebate per household.

Conclusion:

From 10/04 through 10/10, you can get a $20 staples gift card when you purchase $300 or more in MasterCard gift cards.

Remember that, Staples also sells a lot of household items, incase you are not a fan of technology products and office supplies.

I always use Staples offer like this, but I find Visa GC easiest to unload. I am debating whether to go for this or not.
