Each member is given a specific offer and according to this thread, there are at least 9 offers. In the past, I was able to call Marriott Customer Support and switched to an offer I am comfortable with. It cannot be guaranteed that you will have same result, but it is certainly worth trying if you don’t like the offer.

 Are these promotions really worth?

Irrespective of whether or not you plan on completing the tasks, I would recommend signing up for the promotions as you could earn some bonus points even for not completing a stay (like Download the IHG app.)

Whether this is a good deal or not depends on your future travel needs. I would not recommend going out of the way just for this promotion.

I personally do not plan on completing any of the promotions as my travel needs are limited, only promotion that may force me to think twice is the “Club Carlson – Extend your stay, Earn 30K” as there is potential to earn around 50K points (being a Club Carlson Credit card holder).

Conclusion:

I would sign up for these promotions what ever may be the travel plans are.

Hyatt is expected to roll their promotion ” Stay More Play More” shortly, let us see what Hyatt brings to the table.
