New Set Of IHG PointBreaks – Valid Through Oct 31, 2016


IHG has announced a new set of PointBreaks hotels. IHG Rewards club members can book these hotels for just 5,000 points/night for stays between now and Oct 31,2016.

You can buy 5,000 points for $35 by following the steps in this post IHG PointBreaks . You can also buy IHG points the conventional way or transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards to your IHG account.

You may consider applying for Chase IHG Rewards Club Select Credit Card for future. You can earn 60,000 points (80,000 points may be possible, if you contact chase to match the 80,000 points offer) after meeting eligible spend within 3 months

Tips:

  • If there is a PointBreaks hotel that crosses your travel plans, reserve it immediately even if the plan is tentative.
  • PointBreaks are refundable as long as they are cancelled with in the time period allowed by the particular hotel
  • There is a limit of 2 bookings per hotel per member at PointBreaks rates.
  • PointBreaks are limited in quantity and will sell out quickly (especially at popular hotels/locations)

It must be said that the PointBreaks list have been getting weaker every time, but this time there are 2 Intercontinental hotels in the list.

Conclusion:

IHG has updated the PointBreaks list, valid for travel between now through Oct 31, 2016.

PointBreaks are limited in quantity. You should book them, even if your plan is tentative. You can buy 5,000 IHG points for $35 by following the steps mentioned in this post. IHG PointBreaks can be cancelled with out any penalty as long as they are cancelled per the hotel cancellation policy.
