We recently had an opportunity to visit the one of the Plaza Premium Lounge located in Kuala Lampur International Airport. This lounge is associated with Priority Pass, and we used the Priority pass select card issued for holding Citi Prestige card. This priority pass select card offers unlimited lounge access to the member + 2 guests or immediate family members.
If you hold a Citi credit card issued in Malaysia, you could use your reward points to gain entry in to the lounge.
If you do not have any of the cards, you can pay to gain an entry.
This lounge is located in KLIA2 next to gate L8. Given an opportunity, I would choose a different lounge (especially if you paid for the lounge). This is one of the smallest lounge we have seen. Check-in desk is on the terminal corridor and there is no door to isolate the noise from the terminal.
This lounge can probably seat 30-40 passengers with its mediocre seating. one of the biggest drawback is the lack of the Rest rooms, you would have to use the common rest rooms located in the terminal.
Food options are very average and there are a few dishes that are made fresh to order. There is also some seating available next to the food counter.
There is a cook available to make your food order.
There is a small selection of breads and juices offered during the breakfast hour.
There is a small selection of ready to eat food items.
Just to give you a feel of how small this lounge, this is the only dining area available apart from the few work spaces and chairs available.
Kuala Lumpur airport has 4 plaza premium lounges and they are associated with priority pass. Plaza Premium Lounge, Kuala Lumpur in KLIA2 terminal next to Gate L8 is one of the smallest lounges you can find.
In most instances, I would not visit this lounge, if i have to pay for accessing this lounge.
