Jet Airways has announced a partnership with Delta and KLM. Effective Mar 27, 2016, Jet Airways would be launching daily flights to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport from Mumbai, Delhi & Toronto.
Amsterdam would be new European gateway, Jet Airways will continue to operate per the current schedule (Via Brussels) until Mar 26, 2016. There will no longer be a Jet Airways service to Newark from Mar 27, 2016.
With this code share partnership, you can travel between India and 11 destinations in North America and 30 destinations in Europe on one ticket.
11 North American destination include : New York-JFK, Newark, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal and Edmonton
Things You should know:
- You may be able to redeem Delta Sky miles on these routes, as Delta would be code sharing on these routes.
- Unless you are traveling to Mumbai or Delhi, you would still need another connection to reach other cities in India.
- If you have a Jet Airways ticket booked for travel beyond Mar 27,2016, you can expect to hear from Jet Airways providing you alternate options.
