Hotel Review: Le Metropolitan, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Paris

During our recent trip to Paris, we booked a one night stay at Radisson Blu Le Metropolitan Hotel, Paris Eiffel using the free certificate received from US bank during their recent benefit devaluation.

As we got close to the stay, we noticed that this property is now re branded as a Tribute portfolio hotel  with Starwood.  I was slightly concerned and immediately contacted the hotel to confirm that the reservation is still intact, staff informed that there is nothing to worry.

During check-in, I was able to add my SPG number and got the stay credit along with the 250 Starpoints for being a SPG Gold member.

This is a small boutique hotel with 48 rooms and is very close to Eiffel tower. The shape of the hotel is slightly unique, it reminded me of a wedge. Even the lift is very compact.

Some of the rooms offer view of the Eiffel tower, but you can get a good view if you step in front of the hotel. Remember, you can see light show of the Eiffel tower, every hour from dusk to midnight.

You can also take stairs to reach higher floors.

We had booked 2 rooms, and a single door leads to the 2 rooms and one key opens all 3 doors.

There are complimentary water bottles in the room.

Bed is clean and comfortable.

There is a balcony for each room overlooking the street and the shopping areas next door.

Bathroom is spacious with a bathtub cum walk-in shower.

If you are looking for an early shower, do remember to notify the front desk for hot water.

There is also a bar and restaurant located in the ground floor which can be accessed by hotel guests as well as others.

Le Metropolitan, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Paris is associated with Starwood Preferred Guest program. This property used to be with Club Carlson under Radisson Blu brand.

This is a small boutique hotel with 48 rooms across 6 floors and is in the close proximity of Eiffel tower.
