If you choose to deposit your British Airways travel to Alaska Mileage plan, you would earn 20,478 miles for a round trip between Los Angeles and Hyderabad.

American Airlines AAdvantage:
If you choose to deposit your British Airways travel with AAdvantage. you would get 20,478 miles for a round trip ticket between Los Angeles and Hyderabad.
You can use AA miles for travel with Oneworld and other AA partners.
You can redeem AAdvantage miles to travel to India with British Airways, Qatar Airways, Jet Airways, Etihad, Cathay Pacific, Malaysian Airlines etc..

US Airways Dividend miles
If you choose to deposit your miles with US Airways Dividend miles, you would earn 20,478 miles for a round trip ticket between Los Angeles and Hyderabad.
US Airways and American Air are in the process of completing the merger, It is expected that US Airways and American Airlines frequent flyer programs will be combined in Q2-2015. After the merger, AAdvantage will prevail.
Until then, if you redeem US Airways Dividend miles, it will be based on this award chart. The best redemption to India with this award chart would be a round trip business Class award to India with Cathay Pacific for 120,000 US Airways Dividend miles.
You can deposit your British Airways travel to Alaska Mileage plan, American AAdvantage or US Airways Dividend miles. All 3 programs are great and which program to choose will depend on your travel profile and needs.
