Conrad Maldives comprises of 2 islands – Rangali and Rangalifinolhu that are connected by a bridge and the sea plane lands in the middle of the 2 islands and parks in the middle of the bridge.
We were taken to the reception in the Rangali Island (smaller Island with all water villas). We were informed that we got upgraded from Beach Villa to Water Villa, courtesy of our Diamond status and low occupancy. Beach villa is the standard room at this property and costs 95,000 points/night.
Since we completed the check-in formalities at the arrival lounge in the sea plane terminal, there was just an authorization of the credit card and we were immediately headed to our room.
We were assigned the water villa 330, which is base category Water villa and is still gorgeous.
As we open the door, we can see a large couch and bed which leads to the back deck through the floor to ceiling windows.
We were given Champagne and a box of chocolates along with the fruit bowl.
One of the highlight of the room is the glass desk, with glass floor.
There is a coffee maker and mini bar right next to the couch, one thing you could notice is the use of the reusable glass bottles. For environment purposes, the resort has a water plant and the bottles are reused.
The bathroom comes with double vanity along with the bath tub overlooking the sea through the window.
You can soak in the bath tub overlooking the sea.
As a Diamond member, we could choose from a variety bath amenities – Tara Smith, Shanghai Tang etc…
There is a walk-in shower.
There is a closet to the left of the entrance to store the luggage and the closet also has a lot of items like extra pillows, torch, tote etc.. you can use while at the resort.
The highlight of the villa would obviously be the back deck over looking the Indian ocean.
There is a direct access to the sea from the deck.
We got partial view of the sunset from our deck and there are privacy walls to offer privacy.
We got a tour of some of the villas and the premium villa offered in the entire resort is called sunset water villa, which contains 2 bed rooms and a huge back deck with unobstructed views of the Ocean.
Great view of the ocean from the deck and with a pool.
The living room has glass floors that can give you great view of the sea life.
The base room category is Beach Villa. All the beach villas are going through a renovation to make good use of the space.
Beach villas offers direct access to the beach through the deck.
For the Beach Villa, there is a private shower area, open to sky.
There is also Deluxe Beach Villa which has a private pool and larger outdoor pavilion.
The private pool is set up in a tropical environment and is steps away from beach.
No matter the type of villa chosen, you are sure to enjoy your stay. On of the feature of the property has been the service. You were greeted with a smile all the time and they remember your preferences after the first interaction which will make your life easy.
Conrad Maldives offers true luxury, and the resort offers several types of rooms starting from the Beach Villa to a Sunset Water Villa
Beach Villa can be booked with points for 95,000 Hilton HHonors points per night. While the premium rooms can also be booked using Hilton HHonors points, the points needed are exponentially high.
