How to add Discover credit card to your Apple Pay wallet?
- On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap the plus sign and follow the prompts.
- On Apple Watch, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select “Wallet & Apple Pay,” then tap “Add Credit or Debit Card.” and follow the prompts.
Which Apple products do you need to use Discover cards with Apple Pay?
To take advantage of the Discover cashback promotion, you need one of the following Apple devices
- iPhone 6s Plus
- iPhone 6
- iPhone 6 Plus
- Apple Watch
Can you add your spouse’s card to your Apple Pay Wallet?
Yes, you can add your Spouse’s or family member card. Your spouse or family member would need to provide you the validation code to activate the Discover card in your Apple Pay Wallet.
How many Discover credit cards can you add per each Apple Pay account?
You can add more than one discover card to your Apple Pay wallet.
Which stores accept Apple Pay?
Apple Pay is accepted at several stores and the list is expanding. You can follow this link to find the stores that accept Apple Pay.
However, this list in not complete. There are several stores that are coming live from the list of upcoming stores. I have found Rite Aid and Best Buy to be accepting Apple Pay even though the list shows them as unavailable.
Does online purchases count towards the promotion?
No, Only in-stores purchases qualify for the Discover 10% cashback promotion per the official terms & conditions. I will update if this turns out to be false.
What if you have multiple cards?
You can earn an additional 10% cashback on up to $10,000 in-store purchases. This limit is per each Discover card.
Can another person use the same iPhone for Apple Pay?
When you use Apple Pay for in-store purchases, you need to provide authentication (pass code, touch ID). You can register for multiple touch ID’s or share the pass code.
