Staples is on a roll, through 03/21/15, you can get a $20 visa card when you buy $250 or more in Visa cards.
A $50 or $100 gift card will incur $5.95 in fees and $200 gift card will incur a $6.95 fee. These gift cards can be used anywhere MasterCard cards are accepted. I suggest buying 2 X $200 MasterCard gift cards and you would pay $13.90 in fees and you can make a profit of $6.10. If you have Chase Ink credit card which offers 5X ultimate rewards at Office supply stores you could also earn 2068 points ($413.90 X 5).
I suggest hitting the stores as soon as possible, as the $200 Visa cards tends to run out very soon. if you do not see the cards on the rack, do ask as a store associate as they tend to run out of the visa cards quickly . If you end up with only $100 MasterCard gift cards, you profit drops to $1.15 after the fees.
While this is not as lucrative as the current offer, this is still a useful offer to meet any spend requirements and get bonus points.
If you are working towards any minimum spending requirements for a credit card sign up bonus. This could help you achieve your goal quickly without any unnecessary purchases.
You can submit the rebate through Easy Rebates, an easy online process. In my past experience, I have always had good success with these rebates. There is a limit of one rebate per household.
From 03/22 through 03/28, you can get a $20 staples gift card when you purchase $300 or more in MasterCard gift cards.
Remember that, Staples also sells a lot of household items, incase you are not a fan of technology products and office supplies.
